I thought Christmas was quite enough to stand
Yet after that there's New Years and its hype
Of resolutions, dreamt-of one-night stands,
And meaningless parties of idiots ripe.

Though most of the time I do seem quite tame
Of patience, by now I've got not a shred
Should I face more fake cheer the guests I'd maim

Ce lo annunciano fin troppe canzoni
scampanellanti, ne han fatte a milioni:
un altro bianco natale è alle porte, 
ma mi rompo un dente con il panforte. 

Sì, dico basta ai sorrisi di plastica 
che tutti impongono come una svastica; 
lascio quest’incubo di buone azioni 
torno alle care vecchie tradizioni! 

Babbo Natale di già si è impiccato 
Gesù, preso da invidia, l'ha imitato. 
tutti gli asini e buoi si sono estinti, 
pure santa Lucia ha i capelli tinti. 

Giuseppe intanto ha scoperto la maria, 
Gli occhi rossi, ne fuma alla follia; 
Maria, lei, si è attaccata alla bottiglia 
Se gliela tocchi finisci in poltiglia. 

Al posto dell’innocua mangiatoia 
È nascosto un mostro che tutto ingoia. 
Macché regali, sono gran legnate, 
le strenne che i re magi hanno portate! 

Dal presepe, tutto sporco di sangue 
volano urla, sputi, braccia e gambe: 
i pastorelli si sono animati 
picchiano tutti, son proprio incazzati! 

Svelto un cacciatore prende la mira 
la cometa cade giù a terra e spira. 
I boscaioli con colpi d’accetta 
Abbattono gli abeti in tutta fretta 

Gli gnomi e folletti giocano a calcio 
con teste di angeli, sono d’intralcio. 
Un macellaio che vien dalle Ardenne 
sgozza frenetico tutte le renne. 

Orchi, streghe ed elfi danzano lieti 
all'ombra delle pire degli abeti 
impilano i regali dei bambini, 
dan loro fuoco con buffi accendini. 

Mamme e papà sono tutti contenti  
di metter pargoletti sotto i denti
e il vermiglio Lucifero di lassù 
si sbellica tanto da diventar blu.
